Adds New Film And Paper Scanners To Increase Capacity
IMR Digital, an information management provider, expanded the capabilities of their Hazleton production facility with a state-of-the-art, production level film scanner and high-speed paper scanners. IMR provides a full range of scanning services to convert all types of documents to digital format.
The new film scanner can accommodate 16mm film, 35 mm film, fiche and jacket formats. The high-speed, ribbon scanning device scans the entire roll as a single image. Trained IMR technicians can see everything that is captured and provide better auditing and quality control, ensuring that no images are missed in the process. The new automated unit eliminates the need for any manual scanning and completes the process in a third of the time.
Anthony Parrell, IMR’s Director of Conversion Services said, “The new equipment will allow IMR to expand the production capacity of the facility and provide higher resolution digital images to our customers.”
