IMR Receives Technology Council First Place

IMR received a First Place award in the Process Innovation Awards, a program which honors superior technology solutions for business effectiveness. IMR won the award for its solution for Pennsylvania Treasury/ Department of Public Welfare, where it streamlined the Commonwealth's execution of the Supplemental Security Income State Supplementary Payment initiative. IMR assessed and deployed the technology solution which saves the state government and taxpayers an estimated $100-140 million over a five-year period. "IMR was honored to be part of such an important technology solution for the Commonwealth and one that resulted in such significant savings," commented Robert Chamberlain, CEO of IMR. He said, "The project was so critical to the state that Governor Rendell highlighted its success during his State Budget Address."

Pennsylvania Tech Leaders Receive Prestigious Council Awards

Businesses, state officials, and institutions leading Pennsylvania, and the nation, in high technology applications received special awards from the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania at the Annual Awards Gala in March in Harrisburg. The awards ceremony marked the 14th year the Tech Council has given the awards to highlight the fact that the region, as Council President Kelly Lewis notes, is "at the forefront of cutting edge technology."
