Health Network Receives "Real Solution" Award
Harrisburg, PA - Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) in Allentown, PA was awarded the "Real Solutions" award for implementing solutions throughout the organization that have made a real impact on improving efficiency and productivity at the 2009 OnBase Technology and Training Conference. Information Management Resource - IMR has worked with LVHN to implement solutions enterprise-wide.
Lehigh Valley Health Network deployed GE's Centricity Electronic Medical Records (EMR) application in its outpatient clinics and defined medical practices. LVHN selected IMR to implement OnBase to be the image repository for the EMR application. This implementation has supported Lehigh Valley's initiative of "One Patient One Record" and has resulted in improved patient care and operational efficiency.
"IMR is pleased to work with Lehigh Valley Health Network to implement solutions enterprise-wide, which increase efficiency, productivity and improve information flow throughout the hospital," said Scott McCabe, IMR's Chief Operating Officer. "We first began working with Lehigh Valley to improve operations in their medical credentialing area. Subsequently, we have expanded into increasing efficiencies in other areas including legal, materials management and human resources and medical records. Solutions provided by IMR have helped to eliminate paper documents, manual tasks and sometimes entire steps from the hospital's processes."
