IMR Joins With Scout Troup 89 To Help The Ronald McDonald House

$10,000 Raised For New Facility Wing

IMR has been assisting Boy Scout/Cub Scout Troop 89 of Enola with their fund raising program, by donating gloss paper. IMR set up special collection boxes throughout the Hazleton facility with “Toss The Gloss” signs on them. Employees deposit used or waste gloss paper in the collection boxes, which are then turned over to Troup 89.

Troup 89 has collected over 100 tons of gloss paper for recycling since last Summer. Thanks in part to IMR’s contributions of waste paper for recycling, the scouts have been able to contribute almost $10,000 to the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey, PA for the addition of a new wing.

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Pennsylvania is to provide temporary housing for out-of-town families of seriously ill children hospitalized at Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey.
