IMR has over 30 years experience in converting document into archival quality microfilm format.

With nearly 30 years experience in the microfilm business, IMR is uniquely qualified to convert all of your paper documents to film-based media.

Business and Government Records

Our knowledgeable staff can convert all manner of business documents to 16mm or 35mm microfilm. Additionally, we are well versed in the many different requirements mandated by such agencies as the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission (PHMC), the New York State Archives and Records Administration (SARA), the New Jersey Division of Archives & Records Management (NJDARM), and others which govern the conversion of many types of Government Records.

Newspapers and Books

Along with PHMC, SARA, and NJDARM, newspapers and books are often filmed to the Research Libraries Group (RLG) or Library of Congress (LoC) guidelines. While these 'guidelines' are not mandatory, they do constitute a standard which ensures that the film which is produced is of consistent high quality, and archival. When one considers the historical value of such documents, the experience and reputation that IMR can claim makes us a natural choice for your preservation needs.

Archtectural and Engineering Documents

Large-format drawings, such as those created by engineering and architectural firms, require large, specialized cameras for conversion to film. We can provide materials filmed to MIL-Spec guidelines, or customized to the standards developed by your firm. Our engineering department is fully equipped with high resolution engineering cameras, as well as all of the peripheral equipment necessary to meet the needs of our customers. We can provide aperture cards punched to your requirements, create duplicate card sets, jackets, or rolls as required.

IMR has the capacity to take on any project, large or small, in order to satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers.
