IMR Collaborates With Canon
For A Greener Planet
New Toner Container Collection Program
IMR recently announced that it is collaborating with Canon to promote a new Toner Container Collection Program. To contribute to the goal of zero landfill waste, IMR is introducing a collection and energy recovery program for Canon plastic toner containers.
Local Recycling If Available
IMR recommends that all Canon plastic toner containers be locally recycled or sent to a local energy recovery facility in order to reduce Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions that result from transportation. Since these toner containers are made of only plastic, local recycling and local energy recovery is usually possible. To support local recycling and energy recovery, a plastic resin code is engraved on each container.
National Recycling Program
However, when toner containers are unable to be recycled locally or are unable to be sent to a local energy recovery facility, companies can ship them to the Canon Collection Center. Canon will assume the responsibility of all costs incurred after the containers are received. Please consider shipping in bulk to help reduce cost and CO2 emissions.
